Logistics and industrial operations

For operations where systems run continuously and downtime is measured in cargo.

In a port, a terminal or a plant, the software is not a website — it is an operational system where access control, data flow between platforms, and incident response determine whether cargo moves.

What we see in this sector

Four problems that come up repeatedly, and how we address them.

Operational data is trapped between systems that were never designed to talk

Integration and reconciliation pipelines between terminal, cargo and internal platforms.

Access and authorisation are managed informally

Role-based access control with an auditable record of who can do what.

Incidents are resolved by whoever remembers the system

Runbooks and documentation so resolution does not depend on one person.

Reporting arrives too late to act on

Alerting on operational thresholds rather than end-of-month reports.

Services for this sector

Business automation and integration

Systems that act on data instead of only reporting it.

Questions we are asked

What experience do you have in industrial operations?

Our founder spent roughly thirteen months in enterprise IT at Alport Baku, part of Albayrak Holding — terminal operating systems and digital logistics platforms in a 24/7 port environment, covering access control, operational data flows and incident resolution affecting cargo.

Can you work with systems that have no API?

Often, through scheduled exports, database-level integration or file-based exchange. We will tell you which of those applies rather than describing it as a live integration when it is not.

How is access control approached?

Least privilege, role-based, with an access matrix documented and reviewed. Most operational security failures are authorisation drift rather than intrusion.

Do you provide monitoring and on-call?

We implement monitoring and alerting and write the runbooks. Ongoing on-call is a separate arrangement to be agreed explicitly, not assumed.

How do you handle change in a system that cannot stop?

Staged environments, reversible deployments, and a documented rollback for every change. Nothing reaches a production operational system without a way back.

Is this work compatible with existing IT governance?

Yes. We expect to work within an existing change-control process and to document to whatever standard the organisation already uses.
